Pippa dining table
An understated and beautiful design, the Pippa dining table is full of gentle curves around the columns, along the length, width and profile of the table top.
We designed this piece for Chapter Interiors, a Somerset based interior design duo Pippa and David Musrie. They came to us wanting a table that took inspiration and had a similar feel to some of Joaquim Tenreiro 1950’s dining table designs which integrates two strong solid wood column with an ample table top, usually veneered.
We have used solid European Prime Oak throughout and in this occasion we have fumed it with Ammonia to produce a rich dark brown tone. The Ammonia reacts with the natural tannins in the Oak to change the colour of the timber.
